“We are not asking for handouts or more than our share, but we need to be able to live a decent life in New Haven and the greater New Haven area as a whole. Costs have gone up significantly; we just want to be able to pay rent/mortgage and buy groceries for our families with the money we make from our jobs at Yale.”
